About

Hi, I’m Keith Bremner.

I’m an Engineering Manager with a passion for developing people, processes, and tools to solve business problems. I have four years of line management experience across three organisations. I also have a decade of engineering experience covering AI startup, EdTech SaaS, global consultancy, agency, global law firm, leading charities and non-profits. Throughout my career, I’ve stepped forward to deliver through uncertainty (like a cyber attack that caused $10 billion worth of damage) and thrive when taking on responsibility.

My interest in technology started at a young age. We had an Amiga 500, and I was always fascinated by how it worked and what it could do. One of the first things technical I did was to hack the save games in Sensible World of Soccer so I could add myself as a player and give myself more money for transfers. While there may be a statue of another iconic Bremner outside of Elland Road, I have always been a Liverpool fan. That early curiosity of how technology works has stayed with me throughout life. I went on to study Computer Science at university and still enjoy learning new things and solving challenging problems.

I believe that personal growth comes from stepping out of your comfort zone. This belief has led me to appear on TV show Pointless (I’ll never forget the hungry caterpillar), live abroad twice (who doesn’t love Italian food?), and run a marathon (two laps of Blackpool takes resilience).

When I’m not working, a lot of my time is spent with my family. We have five children (any more would be madness!), each with their own personalities, needs, and busy social calendars. My wonderful wife is an independent midwife, supporting women and families through their birthing journeys and beyond. Our house is full of oxygen cylinders, catheters and all other weird and wonderful medical instruments.

I consider myself a logical and methodical person, but I’m trying to nurture my creative side. I recently created a mosaic and finger drum very badly on an Akai MPC One+. While the outputs may not always be award-winning, I’m enjoying the process.

Technology is rapidly evolving, and there’s always something new to learn. I enjoy spending my time exploring new technologies and better ways of doing things. My wife calls it tinkering. To this end, I’ve got a home lab with six computers. Most recently, I’ve been exploring Agentic AI for the automation of software development activities.
